Understand the intent of the ADA Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct.
Understand the intent of the ADHA Policy Manual and published Bylaws and Code of Ethics.
Learn what is meant by ethical conduct and professionalism.
Recognize every patient’s right to autonomy and confidentiality.
Review the rules for doing no harm and for doing good.
Review the rules for truthfulness and fair treatment of patients.
Learn the General Standards for dental professionals, including the rules for disclosure.
Review a selection of statutes and rules from the Indiana State Board of Dentistry.
